Katelyn Hannigan plays an integral role as an Architectural Associate, supporting the team throughout every phase of a project—from the earliest design concepts to final completion. With a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit, she ensures that each step of the process contributes to creating thoughtful and functional spaces.
One of Katelyn’s strengths is helping clients visualize their options when they feel uncertain about design choices. She thrives on providing creative solutions and clear possibilities, ensuring that each client feels confident in the outcome. Her work is guided by the belief that architecture should not only be beautiful but should also make everyday life easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful.
Her inspiration often comes from the world around her—whether analyzing the details of a ceiling in a restaurant or admiring the craftsmanship hidden beneath a table. She finds joy in seeing spaces come alive within her own community, where design moves beyond drawings to create environments filled with energy and life.
Katelyn’s dedication extends beyond the firm. She serves as Vice President of the AIA Florida Southwest Local Component and has been recognized with the Presidential Award (2023) and Associate of the Year (2024). These honors reflect her commitment not only to her profession but also to her peers and the broader architectural community.
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys expressing her creativity through art, exploring mediums from clay to paint. She is also an avid plant enthusiast and shares her home with a beloved trio of pets: Maggie, her resilient 16-year-old toothless cat, Luka, her energetic young dog, and Lady, a turtle she has cared for for over two decades.
