RG Architects, P.A is providing architectural design services for the BBBB K-8 School, a new educational campus developed for the School District of Lee County. The project supports a flexible, student-centered approach to learning that accommodates evolving instructional models and diverse learning styles. RG Architects, P.A has collaborated with DLR Group in support of the project’s plannin, design development, and construction documents. This campus will be located at 12690 Treeline Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida, and is designed to serve a student capacity of 1,555. The project team includes Javier Salazar, AIA, NCARB (Principal-in-Charge / Lead Designer), Natali Garcia, LEED AP, CPTED (Project Manager), and Carla Ortega (Architectural Project Coordinator), with Gulfpoint Construction Co., Inc. serving as the Construction Manager at Risk.


The campus will include an administrative building, gymnasium, kitchen and dining facilities, central energy plant, media center, outdoor learning laboratories, and grade-based classroom pods for Pre-K, K–1, Grades 2–3, Grades 4–5, and Grades 6–8. Flexible classroom areas, small group gathering spaces, and a nature trail further support collaboration and experiential learning. The project is also designed to meet Florida Building Code public shelter design criteria. The facility will total 208,808 SF, with a construction cost of $112,000,000.00, and is projected for completion in April 2028.
